Luxury Whale Watching

Whale watching season starts approximately on May15th and ends on September 30, 2018. But, we will do custom trips on other dates... both earlier and later, so please contact us.

Trips total four hours - which includes transportation time "to and from" the downtown Juneau area. Approximately three hours are spent whale-watching directly on the water.

Custom Trips:
All trips are non-smoking and NO illegal substances will be allowed.

Possession of firearms must be approved in advance.

We can provide remote cabins, camping, kayaking, hiking, and/or mountain climbing on our custom trips. All custom trips will be priced per trip. Give us your vision, and we will find a way to fulfill your Alaskan dream.

Weather Permitting Alaska offers a 10% discount for Juneau residents and their guests.*  When you have friends visiting this summer, or maybe you just want to have a great time yourselves... envision going on a whale watching trip or being part of an exciting marine photo safari.  In addition: we offer custom trips, special occasion trips, as well as kayak drop-offs and pick-ups. We provide world-class outings that include great snacks, and upon request, we can arrange for your transportation to and from the Auke Bay docks.

*Please note that in order for your visitors to receive their discount, at least "one" person traveling with the party must be a verifiable Juneau resident.

    Terms of Contract

There is a 30% non-refundable* advance deposit due at the time you book. Any outstanding balances will be billed to your credit/debit card seven (7) days before the scheduled day of your tour. "Any and all" trip cancellations must be made fourteen (14) days prior to your scheduled departure time to avoid having the remaining balance both "owed and billed" to your credit card. 

* If your cruise ship (or flight) is delayed, or canceled... resulting in you missing our trip - any billed "outstanding balance" MAY be refunded entirely at our discretion, and will be considered on a per-case basis. Trip insurance is highly recommended!

 * If Weather Permitting has to cancel a trip for any reason (including weather)... a "full" refund including the "advance deposit" will be issued.

 * Our credit card company charges us up to 4% per transaction, so if you paid by credit card and wish a refund credited back to your card - there will be an 8% fee.
 
* If you paid with a credit card, and wish a refund back in the form of a check - there will be a 4% fee.

Recognizing that not everyone has the same itinerary, we are proud to offer flexible departure times - tailored to suit our guest's individual needs. If your ship's posted arrival/departure times conflict with Weather Permitting's typical tour times... CALL US, and we will do everything in our power to make it work!
